The Game of Stars has been such a success that GroundProbe sponsors the Limpopo knockout this year as the main sponsor.
If you haven’t been following us over the year, The Game of stars started in the summer of 2017. Farmers in the Limpopo area created Soccer teams to represent their farms and competed against one another for the top spot. This tournament was developed by Mark Fish.
The Game of Stars, now known as GroundProbe Limpopo Knockout, was created to help the informal settlements in the Limpopo area. The objectives of the Game of stars: view here.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the tournament was delayed to a later in the year, but even with the delays, the players were still thrilled to get back on the pitch to represent their farms.
Once again, we want to thank everyone for making this happen despite the setback of covid-19. And to everyone that has come out to support their teams.
