The Zithobeni Community Tournament is the first soccer informal settlement event in Bronkhorstspruit (Gauteng), for The Mark Fish Foundation. The teams from the local communities surround areas of Bronkhorstspruit competed against one another for the title of the top soccer team in the Zithobeni Community.

This was the Zithobeni Community as well as The Mark Fish Foundation’s first informal settlement event which turned out to be a huge success. The players showed remarkable skills, talent and respect for one another on and off the field as well.

The Mark Fish Foundation would like to thanks the following company for making this event possible:

  • Capitec Mpumalanga for sponsoring the trophies, and
  • Russellstone Protein (Pty) Ltd sponsoring the kits for the teams.

The first informal tournament for The Mark Fish Foundation will not be possible for the donation and sponsorships we received through individuals and corporates.
